Geneve and lovely Copponex

(yes, we have a lot of stuff)

We arrived at Geneves airport by noon, where we were supposed to wait for Maddies cousin Stefan for 3 or 4 hours. And because it was first very sunny place we went out to breath the hot air and enjoy sun and sunglasses. You can't wear them that much in finland right now.

And while waiting i got crazy again. Well you can understand. With Maddie all day at the airport, it must do something to you.

Stefan came to pic us up, and we drove together from Geneve (Switzerland) to Copponex (France). This tunnel reminded me of the pictures from Dianas death in Paris, thoufh they where in Paris and we where in south.

Again you could really enjoy the views. Nature was so beautiful in Cooponex. it was like a little village between mountains. It was very warm and so beautiful, i thought it could be only in fairy tails.

In Copponex we got our own little room with bathroom. It was very expensive, but all worth it!

As you can see, it is beautiful and very comfy!

Stefan took us to supermarket, where we got crazy, and wanted to buy everything. So much little nice things! But in the end we bouth pizza for that night and some pasta for next day. But still we go crazy in every new supermarket!

The next day we drove together to Romans, where Stefans parents lived. And we saw this really cool car, that everybody wanted to take picture off. Well okay, it is cool.

But we tought much cooler where our tictacs which ended too quickly. We where like drag addicts with them. And i havent had chance to buy more. It is killing me :D So if you want to give me a present tictacs are good way to go ( or that car).

Travelling to Geneve

Okey, finally i got the time to write more. So continuing zith our trip.
Ze zere at Kaspers having a really good time and in the morning we walked the dog near their house. And i can say, the view is amasing!


You can see the bridge between Malmö and Copenhagen behind Maddie, who was really amased by it. Though it is pretty amasing!


Dog liked more of swimming, than watching views. It swimmed as it was a fish and not a dog, enjoying it. Afterwards we went with Kasper to city to see a movie. It was our first time to see a movie in a foreign country and it was quite nice. We were watching The Ugly Truth. At first we thought it was only a girl movie, but i can really recommend it to everyone, because it was so much fun!!

Maddie forgot her ipod at her friends, so she got to pick it up very late and we didn't catch the train in that evening, so we went to Kastrup airport and waited for central station to open again. Though when we were returning from the Kastrup, we were so tired thwt we fell asleep in the train and got to Helsingor. But it was okey, we took the next train back to central station and were right in time to our train to Hamburg.

On the train to hamburg we fell asleep again. It is very exchausting to travel and sleeping in trains isn't the best. Kind of missing a real bed! But anyway, we were again so tired that we travelled to Berlin.


But lucky we god night train to geneve, so we only had to spend one day at the station. Though i love Berlins central station. It is the new one, that was made for this World championship of football. And it has starbucks. It is my favorite. Though i go crazy after their coffee. Maybe cause i never drink coffee.
You can believe that after spending 8 hours on a railwaystation you can get board or mad, zell this picture represents that :D


We travelled whole night by train to Basil. Not on sleeping beds, but on seats, so not confortable. But after Basil we went straight to Geneve and got to watch these landscapes so far from finnish. Amasing! I loved them!!

And because of it she could watch all the views while i got tired and went back to sleep.

At Kaspers

This is gonna be very short, but i will soon do a little better.
After spending fun night with our friends, we got lucky and had the oportunity to spend one night at my old friends Kasper in Kopenhagen. I was at hes place last time 3 years ago, and loved the time with him and his family! So it was really nice to meet them again.


Becouse we came to his place very late in the evening we stayd there. Also it was monday, so no point going to clubbing. So we stayt actually the whole night in his room just drinking, listening music and watching Bolt. Thought we fell asleep while watching Bolt and had to continue it the next day.For the evvening we had greenshirt night. All three of us were wearing green t-shirts. And we all were coocoo-laalaa after few rum&cokes. Well Kasper took some whiskycoke. But almost the same.

Had a great night and so much fun!

Okey, i will write more as soon as i manage to get to internet again!!

Around Copenhagen

And continuing in Copenhagen. We met our friend, who agreed to give us a place to sleep for couple of days. He took us also to a canal trip around Copenhagen. The day was perfect for it. It was warm and sunny! Well not as warm and sunny as in the summer, but for autumn a very good!!


Day have these cute little houses by the sea. They were build there first after the war. This big building wasn't one of them, but we were amased of its.. well you can see. It is something extraordinary!

And ofcourse we saw the little mermaid. She was very tiny!
We also saw the volvo ocean race boat.

And behind me is some building, which i don't remember. There was too many things to learn, we can't remember everything.

There were many bridges. And they were very low, and here you can see how low. It was a little bit scary, and you could touch the the bridge.

Later we went to our friends place and made some dinner. Pasta with really good tomato sous, that Maddie made for us! And we ate it with a glass of white wine.

Maddie was making her hear, and i almost knew how to take a picture of her. But liked her legs more. And you can see also some of our bags. There is at least 2 more..

In the evening we went to a party that was made for us. We had only few drinks so Maddie had to taste some bear. And you can see how much she liked it.
The party was great, but we also saw that danish people like to party more than finnish people.

Start

Hello everyone! I decided to write this blog in english so more of our friends could understand what is going on with our trip. I am really sorry about my english, it is not the best, but I hope you will still understand what i am talking about.
So everything started when me and maddie (mad girl) were talking about my old trip around europe. I really wanted to go again and she never was so long out of finland. And suddenly we decided to just quit our jobs and go work abroad. We had one mounth for preparation and saying everyone goodbyes. You can believe that wasn't the easiest thing, because we really don't know when we are gonna see everyone again.
And then on the 23 day of september we left finland. We took a ship from Turku to Stockholm. It was very weard looking at finland. But now our adventure started, and we were more than excited!

We started ofcourse by selebrating so we bought a bottle of malibu and a bottle of mozart and got on the deck to drink and look at the wonderfull views.


We arrived at the evening to stockholm and decided to continue our trip straight away to Copenhagen. We booked our train and then looked for some coffee or coctail place while waiting 3 hours for our train. We end up at O'Learys sportsbar. Our drinks were all alcohol and we almost run from that place ass soon as we drank almost all of our drinks, just to be polite.


Night train was awfull. We had the sitting seats in a coupe with two men, so we really couldn't strech that lot. After 7 hour almost not sleaping we arrived to Copenhagen and looked straight away for a hotel or hostel. We were too tired to do anything. And we really have too big bags with us. Cheapest one (because we try to save in everything) was a hotel named Norlandia Star. It was quite nice, though it didn't have wireless internet connection in the room and we didn't get free breakfast.


In the evening we went to look a little bit for Copenhagens nightlife. Did you know that in clubs people come at 1 or 2 a clock, because they close at 5 or 6 a clock. So we really need to take nap today before we go clubbing.
